Stephen J.C. Muchovej, Ph.D. Data Scientist, Engineer, Astrophysicist

Stephen Muchovej is Chief Data Scientist at Quottly, a web-based service that enables easy college class discovery and registration. Stephen was previously on the research faculty in the Astronomy and Astrophysics department at the Caltech.

With a passion for all-things data, Stephen has ample expertise in building data acquisition and analysis pipelines, Machine Learning (ML), Natural Language Processing (NLP), and extracting actionable insights from Big Data analysis. With over 10 years of experience in industry and academia, Stephen is a keen problem-solver, capable of researching and mastering the tools needed to accomplish the broader goals of projects.

Outside of work, Stephen is an avid outdoorsman, volunteer, educator, traveler, and fighter for social justice.
